Student Visa(D-2, D-4)

1. Study Abroad (D-2, D-4)

Students who want to learn Korean at a language school can enter the country by obtaining a general training (D-4) visa, and students who want to obtain a degree at a university can enter the Republic of Korea by obtaining a study abroad (D-2) visa. International students can engage in employment activities with permission from the Immigration Office if they meet certain requirements.

It is okay for international students who came to Korea to study for the purpose of obtaining a degree, but students who plan to continue living in Korea must be careful when deciding on a department.

2. Job Search (D-10)

International students who want to find a job in Korea after obtaining a degree can change to a job-seeking (D-10) visa and then look for a job.

3. Change to specified activity (E-7) visa

Foreigners who wish to engage in activities specifically designated by the Minister of Justice pursuant to a contract with a company within the Republic of Korea may reside and engage in employment activities in Korea with a Specified Activities (E-7) visa. However, since the Specified Activities (E-7) visa has strict standards set for each field, it is necessary to acquire specialized knowledge in the field in which you plan to work in the future while studying abroad in Korea, and in this process, you must obtain specialized knowledge related to immigration law. You may need personal counseling.
